Richard has sat on the board of several social enterprises and companies in the charity sector.  These include Clowns Without Borders (UK), a charity working overseas providing opportunities for children to be children in areas affected by conflict, war or famine, Landport Community Hub, a local youth club and community asset, Murmuration Arts CIC, an performing arts organisation which delivers community based projects, and was a founder member of North Street Co-working CIC, where you could hire a desk in a shared office space, along with Lewes Labour Party.  He is currently a board member of Figment Arts CIC, an organisation which aims to empower less able bodied to participate in the art sector; Inside Out Films Limited, an Emmy award winning documentary production company; and Hive Mind Records Limited, an independent record label which produces vintage and contemporary sounds from around the globe.
